Experience + Interests
I have previously worked as a volunteer with the NHS Primary Care Trust at Isebrook Hospital, caring for patients and assisting staff in an elderly rehabilitation unit. There, I gained great experience in communication and teamwork. During the five years I spent in my school’s CCF (Combined Cadet Force) Royal Air Force section, I had many opportunities to develop such skills and more. I led, taught and trained others and went on many exercises and camps, local and abroad. I achieved a gliding scholarship and went on the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme, both resulting in solo flight. I was also a member of the shooting team and have competed in numerous competitions. I have just completed my three-year undergraduate degree at university from which I have assimilated a great deal, not only academically, but in terms of independence and responsible living and learning.
I am an avid computer user and have a natural intuition for software, tools and devices – which I hope my degree award reflects. I am extremely passionate about music, film and art. I consider myself to be a very creative person, thus enjoy producing my own art, music and videos and have become accustomed to using a variety of image, video and sound software over the years. I also play the piano and guitar.
